Yes, for the CONTROL (from model Con 18) and STRIEBIG 4D models an optional cutting optimisation is available with integrated operator guidance in NC mode directly at the machine. The corresponding option ExpertCut includes a software package with operator guidance, a network licence for the cutting optimisation for the office, a label printer, the EPS-X automatic positioning system and the automatic saw beam positioning (ASP). The operator guidance is clearly displayed on the large 12" touchscreen directly on the saw beam.
The cutting optimisation with integrated operator guidance is available in three versions. The ExpertCut and BaseCut equipment packages can not be retrofitted. They must be ordered with a new machine. The OptiDivide accessory can be retrofitted. The system works independently of the machine control system and can therefore be retrofitted to many STRIEBIG models.
Yes, additional licences can be purchased and activated at any time. The same applies to software options such as remaining stock management, bar optimisation, block parts, filler parts and edge calculation.
The STRIEBIG cutting optimisation is Windows compatible (Microsoft Windows XP / 7 / 8 / 10). The software cannot be installed on Android or Apple IOS operating systems.
A dongle is used for monitoring the STRIEBIG cutting optimisation licence. The licences are network-compatible. The dongle is plugged into a USB slot on the server or PC (single-user solution). There is also a solution variant for virtual servers.
The CONTROL (from model Con 18) and the STRIEBIG 4D offer a connection possibility for a network connection via LAN as standard (wireless network can be extended by the customer). The machine requires an IP address to the company network. In order for the cutting optimisation data to be stored on the customer server, a central folder for the storage of cutting plans must be set up on the customer server by an IT specialist.
With the scope of supply of the CONTROL (from model Con 18), STRIEBIG 4D or the OptiDivide accessory, the customer receives a backup of the PC. The data backup of the process data (cutting plans) is then carried out by the customer. The storage location is defined in the cutting optimisation and is preferably located on the network server.
Yes, the metric or inch dimension adjustment is done via the configuration.
Yes, users can install OptiDivide themselves. An operating manual is included in the scope of supply. The Installation and Commissioning section is included and described in detail. Optionally, a basic factory training course for cutting optimisation can be ordered remotely.
Data import and label layout are the responsibility of the user. Optionally, a factory service package (via remote access) can be ordered for coordinating/verifying the data import from the ERP and/or CAD system and for creating the label layout.
