Tried and tested over decades, it can almost be considered the Volkswagen Beetle of the vertical panel saw sector: This is the STRIEBIG STANDARD. For many years it has been setting the standard in the universal class for vertical sawing. Thanks to its
flexibility and its expandability, it is an ideal panel saw for companies of all sizes.

We offer the STANDARD in two versions

Universal class for all applications

Universally applicable for a wide range of panel materials: Whether chipboard, OSB, MDF, acrylic glass, composite or plastic panels, the STRANDARD can be used to precisely cut various materials.

Durability and stability for decades of sizing cuts

Self-supporting, welded and equipped with hardened guides – these have always been the distinguishing features of the STANDARD's saw frame.

This frame, the heart of every STRIEBIG panel saw, has been continuously improved over the years.

The absolute parallelism between the upper guide rail and the centre and roller support ensures cutting precision for many years.

Clean air in abundance

We are aware of the high susceptibility to dust in many companies.

Therefore, the STANDARD is available in two different TRK versions. With the integrated TRK dust extraction system we achieve dust limits of well below 1 mg/m3 (TRK1). This means that we fall below the valid TRK guideline values by more than 50%.

STRIEBIG OptiDivide cutting optimisation

The retrofittable version

OptiDivide ensures a higher degree of automation in panel cutting. The system works independently of the machine control. It can be retrofitted to many STRIEBIG models.

The scope of supply includes:

Compact aluminum housing with integrated 12" touch screen panel
label printer (installed and protected in the housing, operated by means of a drawer)
Network connection via wireless network
Software package STRIEBIG cutting optimisation, incl. 1 network license for office workstation

Digital measuring system

DMS-X (horizontal axis for vertical cuts)

Always the right dimension thanks to the digital measuring system DMS for the X-axis: The display accuracy can be freely selected between 0.1/0.5 and 1.0 mm.

The digital measuring system DMS for the Y-axis ensures correct dimensions at all times. Freely selectable display accuracy between 0.1/0.5 and 1.0 mm.

Angle cutting unit

WSG

The STRIEBIG angle cutting device guarantees exact adherence to the set dimension in all angle settings.

Pneumatically braked support rollers

Instead of the mechanical roller brake with foot pedal actuation, a pneumatic brake system for the support rollers can be installed. The brake is activated as soon as the sawing unit is in the plunged position and is released again when the sawing unit is fully withdrawn. The system requires a compressed air connection of 6 - 10 bar.

Paper holder

The paper holder keeps the work documents within easy reach directly at the saw.

The small workpiece support made of wood is particularly suitable for cutting smaller cut material. It can be used with model TRK 1 as well as model TRK 2.

Grooving or routing of composite panels on the STANDARD is easy with the appropriate additional equipment.

Reversible carbide tip profile cutter for composite panels

WPL

The STRIEBIG carbide profile cutters are available in three versions, U-shaped, 90° and 135°. They are specially designed for use on STRIEBIG panel saws and deliver optimum results when grooving composite panels.

Depth stop for adjustable grooving tools

TVN

Wood materials can easily be grooved on the STANDARD with the depth stop and the appropriate insert adjustment groover (not included in the scope of delivery).

WPL

The original STRIEBIG adjustable grooving tool (8 – 15 mm groove width) enables maximum efficiency of operation with short retooling times.

Set with free-standing supports for floor mounting.

Horizontal separation of the frame

Optionally, the saw frame can be produced horizontally and separately. This results in smaller transport units, which is especially useful when access to the installation site is difficult.

Cutting height limit of Y-axis

The cutting height in the Y-axis can be reduced, e.g. if the room height is limited. A precise clarification on site by your STRIEBIG sales partner is necessary for this.

Tropical insulation

For tropical regions, the saw motor can be equipped with a special insulation against higher humidity and protection against damage by termites.

For all machines:
Powerful TRK dust extraction significantly below 2 mg/m3. The system used must have an extraction performance of 20 m/s in order to meet the TRK specifications. (Vacuum approx. 1400 Pa. / COMPACT approx. 1470 Pa) at the connector in order to meet the TRK specifications.
